Welcome to RGCOTD!
I live near Seattle, and work in Seattle. I drive about 30 miles into work and another 30 miles home every day. Seattle is one of those places where a lot of people have money. I see cars here every single day that people in many places in the country might not see that often. This is my attempt to chronicle the cars that I see every day. Hopefully, folks will enjoy it.
So, I guess it’s important to define what exactly makes a car an RGC. For now I’m going to just make that call. Basically, if it’s out of my reach, I am going to consider it an RGC! If this blog catches on, I’ll let visitors modify that, tweak it, and we’ll come to an agreement as to what makes a car an RGC or not. For now, if a car runs close to $50K or more, I’ll call it an RGC and we can change that later if we want.
So, let’s take a look at some of the RGC’s I saw on my way into work this morning. Remember, these are only the ones I was able to take pictures of. I really do try to be safe when I’m driving, and a lot of times, that means I miss a picture. I generally see a lot more than this.
First up, a really nice Audi A7. Very clean and shiny!
Next up was a Jaguar XK. Very nice.
The last one for this first post is a Range Rover Sport. I did see a second one of these along the way this morning, and it was more dressed up, and much nicer looking than this one, but I wasn’t able to get a picture.
MSRP starts around $62K for one of these babies!
I did get a couple other pictures this morning, but they didn’t come out very good. The other cars I got some pics of were a couple of BMW’s and a couple of Benz crossovers. Other cars I saw included a shiny red Tesla Type S. I see Tesla’s pretty close to daily out here, including occasional sightings of the first model (The Roadster).
I hope you enjoyed this first post! I’ll try to do this a couple times a week, and if it catches on, will try to increase the frequency of posts! See you next time, right here for the next RGCOTD!
